This cheerful 1.6-litre teapot is part of the Sharing Moments Monkeys dinnerware by Janny van der Heijden. The teapot is made of porcelain and is decorated with traditional Delft blue details and cheerful monkeys. In collaboration with Heinen Delft Blue, television personality Janny van der Heijden has launched her own dinnerware under the collection name Sharing Moments. The first edition of the dinnerware focused on lavish tulips and colorful stripes, but the extension of the collection revolves around monkeying about. “Monkeying about is pulling ridiculous tricks and imitating human behavior,” Janny explains about the design of her dinnerware. “The playful monkeys in the collection bring a smile to everyone’s face. This genre of little monkeys in satirical situations was already a popular theme four hundred years ago, and we are happy to bring these lighthearted pranksters back to the table.”
